Lana’s Programs and Activities

The Lana Association  currently operates 10 projects and programs for more than 3,000 Bedouin boys and girls from various age groups within all Bedouin settlements and villages. Among the framework and services the association  has developed, various preschool programs have been established, such as integrative inclusive programs, emotional development programs and preschool excellence centers.
Lana has also incorporated programs which aim to increase parental involvement in children’s education and accompany families with disabled children. Organized services for children and youth with special needs include;  JDC’s “1000 Day Program”, leisure care and enrichment programs, as well as integration programs for children with special needs. Integration programs for disabled children and adults include integrative non-formal education programs, alongside children and youth from the general population, the community and more. The aforementioned programs are in addition to other projects and structures which simultaneously work to establish community support for those same children and youth who partake in other programs like “Welfare Breathing- (Noshmim Lerevacha)”. “Welfare Breathing- (Noshmin Lerevacha) provides tools for developing personal independence, social involvement, and professional training. The program was initiated by the Ministry of Welfare. Lana chose to incorporate it into different Southern Bedouin communities.
